zan77 replied to your post: I dreamt about Tike in The Hunger Games. It was just as heart wrenching as the original and I was asleep so it was more confusing and sad.
The more I hear about The Hunger Games the more I simultaneously become desperate to/terrified of reading it./bookworm problemsZan, honestly you should. They were *so* good and just had me from the beginning of book 1 and didn’t let go til the end of book 3. In fact, I’m not even sure they’ve let me go then. They are heart wrenching though. Heart wrenching, absorbing, they had me screaming in my nest at *all* the characters.
Though ‘desperate/terrified’ will be a high-wire act you walk even as you read them too. Just to warn you.
But you should.
grrrrrrr enable me why don’t you. I probably will end up reading it if only because my dash is bound to be full of it once the film’s released…might put it on my birthday list so I can psyche myself up for it!
